Part of our mission at Democracy is giving back to, and working with our local community. We are happy to support your charity through gift card donations, experiences and product donations, if applicable. We also host private events on site for groups from 15-75 people, and offer discounted rates to non-profits. While we do not offer sponsorships in the form of monetary donations, we often will donate $1 per specialty beer sold during an event, if being hosted at the brewery.
There are so many organizations doing great work to help those in need, and we couldn’t be more proud to support those when we can. We specifically want to help those organizations that are local to the greater Boston area, and support:
-Worker rights and worker-owned, democratic businesses
-Groups that focus on organizing in the greater Boston area
-Art and culture through film screenings, live music and artist showcases
We politely decline requests that are associated with:
-Political fundraising for political parties
-Organizations not based in the Metro Boston area
For donation considerations, we kindly ask for the following:
-Requests are formally made:
30 days in advance for gift cards or swag
60 days in advance for beer and on site events
-A copy of your organizations tax exempt certificate
-All physical donations to be picked up from our brewery during operating hours
